Stuff From Freshman Year

Some assignments I did during freshman year. I learned so much about drawing figures, composition, rendering and sculpting last year, but there's always more to study.  

Portal Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Portal is one that has stuck with me after seeing it. It was so different from any other game trailer I saw before. It instantly transported me into the world of Portal with barely any explanation. I was left with some questions that made me want to learn more about Portal.The weird, kind of menacing robot voice over was incredibly intriguing. Figuring out the mystery of Portal was something that made the Portal games memorable to me. The trailer isn't very flashy, but stands out due to the cuts from office orientation style videos to game play. The trailer shows off the mind-bending power of portals while explaining the game play to the viewer. After watching the trailer I knew how the game worked and what to do to advance throughout Portal.
