More Lights!

We've been using light arrays in UE4 for my programming class, this assignment was to make certain lights disappear with the use of a text file. I decided to recreate Pinky from Pacman with my text file.

Racing Game Theme

 "Like, what's your damage?"


My track is a retro revival of all the tackiest and colourful aspects of the 50s to the 80s. I took plenty of inspiration from Las Vegas, L.A., and Miami to give my level a riveting neon look. It will be set at night with plenty of lights coming from flashing neon signs on various buildings. The buildings will be modeled after 1950s architecture.
Colour Scheme

There is also a large pinball element to my level, where the players will enter an arena in which they need to escape. In this area, bumpers and flippers will be obstacles for the player and they will need to avoid them to get out. There will also be giant billboards that will direct the players where to go. Some billboards may have moving parts and the players will need to avoid collision with them. There are some shortcuts in level. There is an area where the player can choose to follow the safe path, or use speed boosts to go over a dangerous jump on an angle. There is a speed boost at the end of this so the player is rewarded for finishing the stunt. I plan on having a giant casino in the middle of the level to be a landmark and a stunt. The player will have to go over a ramp and land on the casino and then drive off.
